Parents, carers, schools, GPs and other professionals can all refer to Sensphere. You don't need a formal referral from another service, though we're happy to work alongside existing support.
We do not provide formal autism diagnosis. However, our assessments are autism-informed and can help understand functional needs, sensory processing and support requirements. We work in neurodiversity-affirming ways that respect different ways of thinking and being.
Assessments can take place in a clinic setting, at home or at school, depending on what's most appropriate for the child or young person. We'll discuss the best location with you during the initial enquiry.
Waiting times vary depending on demand. We will discuss current waiting times with you at the point of enquiry and keep you updated on expected timeframes.

Yes, we can conduct observations and assessments in school settings with appropriate permissions. We can also provide recommendations and support for school staff.
Yes, following an assessment you will receive a written report with clear findings and practical recommendations. This can be shared with schools, other professionals or used to inform support at home.
We will provide a clear breakdown of all costs before you decide whether to proceed. This includes assessment fees, therapy session costs and report writing fees. We aim to be transparent about charges from the outset.
Therapy sessions are typically 45-60 minutes, though this can be adjusted based on the child or young person's needs and attention span.
Yes, we work with children and young people with a wide range of needs, including those with neurodevelopmental differences, physical disabilities, learning difficulties and those without a formal diagnosis.
Our assessments and reports can provide evidence to support EHCP applications or annual reviews where appropriate. We can also attend meetings to discuss findings and recommendations.
